Jet lag.
Last Sunday, a full day of travel behind me.
Straight into preparing the house for Passover —
cooking, organizing, hosting 40 beautiful souls over the past few days.
At times, it almost feels like my real work is running a small home hotel & restaurant —
adding chairs and tables is a blessing.
In the mix, so important to recharge, preserve myself, and know when to set boundaries… I’m still learning.
Beautiful people.
Getting out of Egypt, letting go —
while, in parallel, so many courageous people on the world stage.
At the Miami level, the tragic loss of two young women in leadership and community service — Vice Mayor Nancy Metayer in Coral Springs, and Jessenia Francisco at the Coral Gables Woman’s Club in Coral Gables.
Pilots rescued — thank goodness.
Parenting, Catching up on friends and work, — even on a Sunday.
Walking when I could — thank you Ruby 🤍
Earlier this week, a letter found its way to our home from Kensington Palace,
a reply to our family wishes.
Thank you to Their Royal Highnesses — I was truly moved to receive it.
A reminder: time is not linear.
Let’s meet it while being and becoming our true selves — always learning.
With love and light,
Jessica — aka Hopeje 🤍
