In the face of life’s challenges, the wisdom of others often lights our path forward. Recently, my friend Joep Schellekens, shared a profound piece of advice: “Think about the solution, not the problem.” These words, simple yet potent, remind us to tackle obstacles with a proactive mindset, focusing on solutions rather than dwelling on difficulties.
Last Sunday night in Miami, I had the privilege of spending some hours at Ultra Miami with Joep. Amidst the pulsating beats and electrifying atmosphere, we were treated to the uplifting music and message of the Ultra’s speaker after Armin van Buuren. His words resonated deeply: “We need more love. We are one, and let’s lift each other’s energy with more love, as that is how we can heal the world.” In a world facing myriad challenges, He’s message serves as a powerful reminder of the transformative power of love and unity.
As I reflect on Joep’s advice, the speaker’s message, and the attacks that started on the participants of the Nova Festival on October 7, 2023, who have been on my mind, I try to remind myself to keep courageous hopeful and positive, I am filled with gratitude for the wisdom and inspiration shared. It resonated even more in this festival ambiance that all they wanted was positive energy and happiness, which I tried to embrace in their honor, while Purim was ending. These moments serve as reminders of the resilience and courage within each of us. Let us carry Joep’s wisdom, the speaker’s message, and the urgent call to bring the hostages back now forward, approaching life’s challenges with courage, resilience, and love.
So, let’s bring more love and light into the world, one step at a time.
